Carsten Björn Göttel (born 1984) is a writer, filmmaker, and photographer based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

A passion for film since early youth, especially the off-mainstream niche, founded an ambition to learn every part of it. Since film is a conglomerate of disciplines, each had to be dissected in cold daylight.

Little did he know that these would become passions in themselves, eventually leading to art and the realization that all arts share an underlying foundation. Almost like a conversation, or sometimes an argument, across the history of human existence.

This uncovered a path to follow as well as stray from, knowing it's always there.

Today, Carsten Björn Göttel continues along this path, currently working on his first English novel as well as various film & art projects.
